Patricia Thomas married Narayan when she was 17 years old. As it was an inter-religion marriage, her parents did not like it and didn’t want to meet her again. Later, after the marriage, she realized that her husband was a drug addict. This family lost all their money because of the alcoholic husband. She was left alone to be the breadwinner for 4 mouths.
Patricia Narayan lost money and was in a bad condition. But, she never lost that will power and hope for the success and good fortune. Her grit made her start a mobile cart on Marina beach. He employed 2 skillful workers and maintained the cart.
Patricia Narayan never experienced a good and free-flowing success path in her life. When things seemed settled and good going, she lost her husband in 2002. To make the situation worse, she lost her daughter and son-in-law in a car accident. This series of incidents left her in a deep sorrow. Her grit is her power. To prove it correct, she bounced back with new energy.
Patricia Narayan and her son started their first restaurant called “Sandeepha”, which was named after her late daughter. She started with one restaurant. Now she has a chain of restaurants. She has the contracts of many corporate companies and all she is heading towards now is way more success. She is a true inspiration for women.
When Patricia Narayan was questioned about how it feels to be in this position of all the hard work, she replies saying, “I started my business with just 2 people. Now, there are 200 people working for me in my restaurants. My lifestyle has changed too. From traveling in a cycle rickshaw, I moved to auto rickshaws and now I have my own car. From 50 paisa per day, my revenue has gone up to 2 lakhs per day.”
