Indian filmmaker Vikash Raj Saxena's debut film (Writer-Director) Zindagi (A short film) has made a special identity among the youth. A short film dedicated to social awareness, 'Zindagi' gives the message of living life to fullest, leading the youth towards positivity. The story of the film is adapted from the book 'Love in Modern Times' written by the acclaimed author Nitish Raj which has been published by P.R. publishers. The book is distributed and promoted by the Literia Insight. The script and direction of Zindagi is done by Vikash Raj Saxena whereas Mr. Raj has also been the Producer. The heartwarming and positive dialogues are written by Dayal. The lyrics of the film are written by Vishal Chaubey, music composed by Aman and sung by Lakshya. Shubham Saini of Ajmer and Shivang Dadhich have done the works of voice in the film. The poster is designed by Ram to describe the theme of the film. Mr. Saxena belongs to the Tanakpur (Uttarakhand).
According to Mr. Saxena, "In the present times cinema needs ground level issues and subjects. The progress of the people living in the society is not possible unless the society is moving in a positive direction. Development is necessary with right thinking, leading in the right way. I am happy that people, especially the younger generation, enjoy my work. I will try to keep the society and the cinema aware of the topics that include entertainment as well as carry a positive message".
Zindagi has been receiving widespread love from the audience as just within few days of its release; it has crossed almost 100K views on YouTube. Zindagi has also been making rounds in various film festivals across the country. Zindagi has been recently nominated in Sincine Film Festival 2020 where films from more than 25 countries will fight for awards in various categories. Not just Zindagi has been nominated but also it has created it's niche audience owing to the portrayal of the relatable theme amongst youngsters.
Zindagi has also found its nomination in Reels International Film festival 2020 and is competing with one of the best Short Movies round the globe. Indeed! The film festivals are a gala event for films where we are able to showcase our talent along with appreciating the craft of other people.
